Integrative Counsellor
Berlin | Online
Welcome
My name is Karolina Edge (BA (Hons), MA, PGC, PGDip, MBACP) and I am a BACP registered and qualified integrative counsellor / therapist living and working in Berlin, Germany. Take a look around and if you have any questions, would like to book a session or have an informal chat then please do get in touch.
Why counselling?
Life isn’t always easy. Sometimes it’s downright difficult. We can doubt ourselves. Become anxious. We can feel confused, or lost. Isolated or lonely. Our relationships can bring us more pain than comfort. Depression can set in and we see no point to anything, or any good way forward.
Should we try to change what’s going on in the world? Or should we work on changing ourselves? Or some of both?
The purpose of therapy is to meet you in that doubtful place and help you move to a better one. Some kind of psychological shift is called for. There may be issues from your past to consider. There may be present circumstances that trouble you. You may not be clear about where you want your life to be heading. Only you know and feel the details.
Together, we can create a respectful, confidential space that is all about now. In this here-and-now, you can be as open and honest as you wish. I will help you see and hear yourself, your thoughts and your feelings, more clearly than you have before. Together, we will explore and you will make discoveries. Those discoveries will be the basis for the way forward that you will create. Towards a better place.
In-person and online
I meet my clients both in-person and online.
In-person sessions take place in Schillerkiez, Neukölln, a calm and private space overlooking the Tempelhofer Feld and a 3 minute walk from the nearest U-Bahn (Leinestr. on the U8).
A note on accessibility: my therapy room is on the third floor and unfortunately there is no lift access.
Online sessions will take place on Zoom.
“Words are not enough to express my gratitude … you have helped set my life back on track and restored my sense of who I am - thank you!”
